CLEARING SALE.
Abraham and Williams, Ltd., in conjunction with Dulgety and Co., Ltd., report holding a highly successful sale on account of Mr G. V. Shannon, Whakarongo. The cows, which camo forward in good condition, although being late calving sorts, sold under good competition at prices on a par with otiier recent clearing sa.es. A particularly choice lino of heifers, due to calvo early August-Septembor, also met witli keen competition and realised good values on the day. Several good usetul farm sorts of horses broken to work also met with very keen demand. A large array of general farm implements wore keenly competed for and in several instances realised more than the new article if procurable to-day.
