Jn this be stated: “The year has been the most successful in the history of the Boys’ arid Girls’ CJubs’ movement in the board’s district. The completed projects in the two sections are: Alanawatu-Oroua division, 456 calves and senior animals presented at ‘schools, 239 plots' judged, 71 lambs presented ; Wanganui-Alain Trunk division, 360 calves and senior animals presented; 351 plots judged; 126 lambs presented Omitting lambs, which are not regarded as official entries, the completed projects for the year total 1406. If lamb entries are included the total is 1603.
“The instructors are of the opinion that club work is of considerable educational and utilitarian value in the community. As far as plot work is concerned, no child can take part in the competition without deriving some definite benefit. It is felt that this work should be extended as far as time and circumstances permit.”
