DUTCH STEW. Hero is a recipe from Holland. — Take Jib beef. -Jib fresh pork, Jib beef liver, 2 quarts boiling water, 2 small onions (sliced), 1 teaspooniul salt, toa'.poonful pepper, J cupful flour, J- cupiul cold water, dumplings. Cut the meat into small pieces, add to boiling water, and simmer with lid on for two hours, adding onions and seasoning the last half hour of cooking. Thicken with flour and cold water mixed to a smooth paste. Prepare .some ordinary suet paste, and drop dumplings by spoonfuls into boiling stew and. cook covered for fifteen minutes. Serve at once.
