Beard, of Palmerston North. DAVID—DALY. The engagement is announced of Aliss Veronica Daly, younger daughter of the late Air and Airs Timothy Dalv, of Glendene Townsville. Queensland, to Air Stanley David, of Svdnev, eldest son of the late Air and Airs Conrad David, of Palmerston North. New Zealand. Miss Dalv,' who trained at the Prince Henry Hospital, Sydney, is nursing at the Infantile Paralysis Clinic, Newcastle.
