(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, May 13. Constable T. Donovan, of Hawera, lias arrived to take charge of ihe Bulls police district. Mr C. C. Price left during the week-end for the shooting season in the Rotorua district.. Saturday’s basket-ball results are: Kopane 18 v. Bulls A 5; Marton B 16 v. Bulls B 9. Interest has been increased in senior Rugby footbajl. by reason of Marton- Old Boys’ first defeat on Saturday, -Bulls and Old Boys being now bracketed at the top of the ladder. On Saturday Bulls gem a strong team to Rata and won by 18pts to 3, tries being scored for (lie winners by C. Culpan 13) and P. Williams, F. | Stock converting three. S. Hartley kicked a penalty goal for the losers. Bulls juniors had a bye, and indulged in useful practice.
