MARTON, May 13. While playing Rugby football for Old Boys seniors against Iluntcrville on Saturday, a Marton player, Jack Duncan, fractured his loft collarbone when heavily tackled. Mr W. Jackson, a mechanic on lho staff of the Rangitikci County Council, has received orders to proceed to Burnham Military Camp to join the Divisional Petrol Company. Mr Jackson saw service in the last war. The Marton Harrier Club held a sealed handicap race over four miles on Saturday. A new runner, L. Hunt, ran a good race to gain first place. The result was: L. Hunt 1, F. Hill 2, S. Christopher 3.
