DEATH IN CELLS.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 12:1 Arrested oil Saturday night, A; a middle-aged man, William Evans, was found dead in the cells in the Taranaki Street police station early this morning. After his arrest he was vis-ited-frequently by the constable -on duty and at 3 a.m was found dead; A doctor expressed the opinion that death had occurred about an hour previously. -.‘v A
