The Covernor Ceneral (Viscount Galway) and Viscountess Galway arrived in Auckland on Saturday from Rotorua Their Excellencies will leave for Wellington to-night, but will return to Auckland on Thursday, when they exnect to remain there for about a month.—Press Association. Admiral Sir Roger Keyes, who devised and carried out the raid on Zeebrugge in the last war, has left London to take up an apointment as an additional naval attache at Brussels with the object of affording special liaison with King Leopold. Mr James William Henrichs, well known in the printing trade throughout the Dominion, died in Wellington on Friday at the age of 74. Mr Henrichs started in the printing trade with the Rangitikei Advocate in the eighties and later worked in Wellington for 45 years. For many years lie was secretary of the Wellington Typographical "Union. ; After 40 years in the locomotive running branch, Mr F. J. Robertson, locomotive foreman in Wanganui, has retired from the railway service, lie joined the railway service at East Town in 1900, shortly after this being transferred to Mangaonolio, which station was. then the terminus of the Main Trunk Line. From there his next move was to Hawera, then Hastings, Napier, Marton, New Plymouth, Foxton and Wellington for about 23 years. He was promoted _ to engine-driver shortly after his arrival at Wellington following the Government taking over the Wellington-Manawatu Railway Company’s line and rolling stock. After a number of transfers he became as-sistant-locomotive foreman at Palmerston North, later being transferred to Wanganui.
