STAFF CHANGES.

The following ( changes :in the staff of the Bank of New Zealand are announced: Mr W. A. 11. Tod, manager of the bank’s' Ma6terton branch, is to retire on pension on June 30, 1040, after 43 years’ service. Before his appointment as manager at Masterton in 1920; Mr Todd Avas in' charge of the Opotiki branch for eight years. Mr E- J- Heffer, assistant manager at* AVe’lington, has been appointed to succeed Mr Todd as manager at Masterton Mr Heffer was manager of the North End branch till 1938, and immediate!" before that appointment lie was manager at Lower Hutt. Mr' A. R. Frethey, accountant at Wellington s branch, ' has been promoted to the position of assistant manager at Wellington, in succession to Mr Heffer, and Mr C. V. Marshall, at present accountant at the bank’s Napier branch, is to be transferred to Wellington as accountant. Mr F. A. Letford, of the head office staff, will succeed Mr Marshall as accountant at Napier.
