NATIONAL PARTY.
BRIDGE DAYS. The third monthly bridge party of the women’s section of the Palmerston North branch of the National Party was held at the National Club oil . Thursday and Friday. The rooms, which were decorated with flowers, were filled on both occasions. The contract prizes were won by Mesdames AV. Clegg and S. King, and the auction prizes by Alesdames Al. Sinclair and L. AVood. The committee in charge of arrangements consisted of Mesdames D. Black (convener), K. C. Clayton, R. Davis, H. G. Mills, M. Palmer and J. H. AA r li3'te, and afternoon tea was served by Miss 0. Warburton and helpers.
