PRISONER’S SENTENCE.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 10. “I have done more prison than quite a number of men who have been sentenced for murder,” said Harold High Ilardgrave, aged 48, a window cleaner, in the Supreme Court, when being sentenced for theft from a dwellinghouse. Mr Justice Smith, imposing a sentence of three - years, warned Hardgrave that if he appeared again he would be declared an habitual criminal.
