(From Our Own Correspondent.) BEACONSFIELD, May 8. The following is the draw for the ladies’ golf on Saturday, when the L.G.U. inedal round will be played in conjunction with the Aotearoa Cup competition: Miss Clare and Miss D. Shannon, Ml'S Stephens and Mies Wither, Mrs D. Old and Mrs Wither, Mies Coggin and Miss T. Old, Mrs Blue and Mrs J. Old, Mrs Corpe and Mrs Short, Mrs A. Shannon and Mrs Usmar, Mrs McCombie and Miss N. Old, Miss Stratford and Miss Williamson. Mists Coggin will be tea hostess. The draw for the men will take jrlace at the clubhouse at 1 p.m. Saturday. An enjoyable bridge party was given by a few Bcaconsfickl residents in of Mr and Mrs J. A. Snell, of Warca, New Plymouth, who were the guests of Mr and Mrs N. H. Short. Other week-end visitors to the district wore Miss T. Itosemcrgy, Miss Lloma Sutton and Mr L. Gould, who wore the guests of Mr and Mrs D. C. Old. Mr and Mrs George and Mies George, of Kakariki, have taken up their residence in the school house. Mr T. Wilson is on holiday in Auckland.
The following arc the results of the cribbage games played on Monday: North section, Kimbolton A 29 v. Apiti B 21; Kimbolton B 26 v. Apiti A 24; South section, Stanway 29 v. Bcaconsficld 21; Halcombe 26 v. Cheltenham 24. The following are the fixtures for May 13:'North section, Apiti A v. Apiti B at Apiti; ICimbolton A v. Kimbolton B at Kimbolton. South section, Beaconsfield v. Halcombe at Bcaeonsfield; Cheltenham v. Stanway at Stanway. The players for Bcaeonofield will be the same as last week’s.
