ROAD CYCLING. The handicaps for the ro-ad cycling race to-morrow at 2 p.m. are: E. Wilson, A. Allen, lrnin.; C. Fisher, M. McCardle, lj,; G. Alien, 2; Inncs-Joncs, 3A; A. Bade, 4; J. Allen, 5. Railway Alterations. The Mayor (Mr T. L. Seddon) received a letter from the General Manager of Railways (Mr E. Casey), yesterday, acknowledging receipt of a letter from the Mayor enclosing a newspaper cutting embodying the report of the committee which was set up to go into the matter of the proposed yard alterations at Feilding Station, with particular reference to the Kimbolton Road railway ing“l have perused the report- with interest and. wish to thunk the committee for the reasonable manner in which the whole of the-investigations have been conducted I shall be pleased to officially convey to our stationmaster, Mr C'roudis, the committee’s thanks for tlie courtesy extended by him,” concludes the letter from Mr Casey.
