A very large numlier of chamois in an extensive area of the Southern Alps have been affected by permanent, blindness, according to Nelson spoilsmen - They, noticed it three years ago and confirmed it during a recent shooting expedition, when they saw carcases of chamois which had died lor no other reason than blindness, limy even caught some animals by hand.
