ROTARY CLUB

A party of Palmerston North Rotarians were the guests of the Wanganui Rotary Club at a dinner on Monday. The visitors were welcomed by Rotarian A. Douglass, the reply being made by Rotarian J. A. Grant. Mr J. C. Young, 'of Palmerston North, gave a talk on the London newspapers and of the influence they wielded. Rotarian F. H. Bethwaite thanked Mr Young for his address. A film showing the occupation of Poland and the bombing of Warsaw was screened by Mr G. F. Framjee, of Palmerston North. A songj composed by Rotarian E. Povnter, in honour of the Palmerston North visitors, was sang by members of the Wanganui Rotary Club.
