STATE HOUSES.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 7. Included in several ambitious housing construction schemes for Auckland are plans for 124 flats of three different types of accommodation within three minutes of Queen Street, on laud situated on the east 6ide of Symonds Street, with a frontage to both Symonds and Wynyard Streets. Hon. H. T. Armstrong said to-day that plans aro also being prepared for thirty units comprising flats in Vermont Street, Ponsonby, and for several blocks of the multiple type of dwelling at Orakei, also for the first block of shops and flats at Orakei.
