HOSTILITIES IN WEST. DUTCH LEAVE CANCELLED. Received Mav 8, 10.30 a.m. LONDON, May 7. The French official morning communique reports: “It was a. quiet day on the l whole. There was a patrol encounter to the east of the Moselle ending to our advantage.” ’ The French evening communique reports artillery actions to tlie west of the Vosges. A message from The Hague says that the Government Press Service announces that all Dutch army and naval leave has been cancelled.
