(From Our Own Correspondent.) CARNARVON, May 6.
The Carnarvon Social Club held a meeting recently, when Mrs Ij. Scott presided. It was decided to change the name to Carnarvon Ping Pong Club. The following committee was elected: Messrs F. Connelly (chairman), H. Knight (secretary'), H. Watkins, W. Maxwell, E. Clare and S. Hodge. Mr and Mrs Teague, accompanied by Mrs A. Murray, have been visiting Wellington. ... Judging by the shots heard since early dawn on Saturday there must be-plenty of ducks... about for the; opening of the season. v/V-
