A RECIPE.
GRILLED MUSHROOMS AND OYSTERS. Take 6 medium mushrooms, loz. hutter, 6 oysters, cayenne, salt, juice half lemon, 3 nice rashers of bacon. Pi el the mushrooms, wash them, and remove the stalks. Melt the hutter and dip the mushrooms in it. Season them with salt and cayenne and place them on a greased grid. Grill the mushrooms under the gas. turning them constantly; they take about eight minutes. After five minutes place an oyster and some lemon juice in each mushroom. Cover with, a rasher of bacon and finish grilling. Serve the mushrooms on the bacon.
