ASSISTANCE TO TROOPS. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 0. At a meeting of the Dominion Council of Toe H consideration was given to the way in which the request at Toe H at Home for assistance in the establishment of a new Talbot, House in Egypt could be met. Advice was received that Toe H in Australia would’release one of its 6taff men for work among the troops in the Near East. /The council decided to devote all funds not required for immediate administrative expeuses towards assisting this effort. After reference had been made to the useful work being done.for members of the armed forces on leave by Toe H organisations, further avenues of service to the troops were discussed. The importance of further youth work was also stressed. The decision of the Dominion executive to keep all Toe H members on active service . “financial” for the duration of. the war was vonfirmed. Among the officers elected were: Dominion president, Lieutenant-Colonel F. D.-Bowerbank (Wellington); Do-minion-padre, Rev A. W. Williams (Christchurch); chairman ot Dominion executive, Mr A. E. Geddes (Christchurch); Dominion secretary, Mr P Ruston.
