SNOW ON RUAPEHU.
SKI-lERS ACTIVE. Per Press Association. • - WANGANUI, May 6. Fairly heavy snow on Mt. Ruapehu yesterday, afternoon and last night covered the ground round the Chateau to a depth of one and a half inches. The golf links are covered, hut with the warm ground the snow is not expected to last long. There are three inches of snow on the mountain, and ski-ing is being enjoyed. , - . ‘. .
