-MARION, Alay 3. At the monthly meeting of tho Marton Junction Women’s Institute, Airs Slight presided. Airs McQueen, presented a report of the annual meeting of the Oroua Federation. Airs Alartyu consented to take over the leadership of the drama circle, but- the singing circle is still minir* a. conductor. It was decided not to invite members of neighbouring institutes to the birthday party, on account of petrol restrictions. but each member may bring a local friend. The competition results were: Dundee cake. Airs Hodgetts 1, Airs Tarry 2, Airs Matthews 3; Aberdeen .sausage, Airs Tarry 1, Airs Marty n 2. AlTss AlcNah 3. Vocal solos were rendered by Airs T. C. Ward.
