Received May 3. 10.30 a.m. RUGBY, May 2, Not only has the number (56,000) qt volunteers required for the South African defence forces been far exceeded enabling the Government to aim at three divisions, .comprising 137,000 men, but many South Africans have undertaken to 'fight wherever sent. Parties of Indians and Cypriots from those now serving with the B.E.F in France are to visit England on a sightseeing tour. Two parties of 15 each are being organised each month. The Arcbmandrite of the Greek Church is spending three days with the Cypriot troops in Franco for whom lie will conduct a deferred Easter service.
