(From Our Own Correspondent.) OTAKI, May 1. Mr B. Afackay, at one time oil tile Bank of Now Zealand staff at Otaki, and now of Wellington, was among the visitors to Otaki yesterday. Mr and Airs Do Woolf leave to-morrow for Rotorua, on holiday; The duck shooting season promises to be a succoseful one, as birds are said to be numerous on the various lakes in the district. Dead dogs, the result of poisoning, have become a nuisance in Otaki.
