AH and Mrs AY. A. Sandilands, ol Kimbolton Road, have returned home from Christchurch. Air and Airs A. M.' Henson, of Penny’s Line, Alount Stewart, Airs B. H. England, of Cunninghams, and Aliss N. Bell are Feilding visitors to Wellington; Airs D. E. Batchelai% of Kiwi-tea, and her daughter, Aliss Kay Batchelar, have gone to AY-ellirigton where tliclatter -will be a debutante at the Alarsden School old girls’ ball this evening. Miss Yvonne Stein, of Danncvirke. is visiting Aliss Beth Little, of Monmouth Street. At a farewell function arranged for Mr and Airs R. Richardson, who are shortly leaving Kimbolton to reside in Feilding, Aliss Barry, Airs Richardson’s niece, was associated with the gathering. Mr AV. Hansen, on behalf of the residents, presented Mrs Richardson with a set of carvers and a silver hot water jug, Mr Richardson with a set of pipes and Aliss Barry with a double string of pearls. All- AV. Clapliam, for tho Golf Club, spoke of the interest which the three had taken in the club and asked Air and Airs Richardson to accept a casserole, and Aliss Barry a pair of bookends. Air Clapham stated that Air and Mrs Richardson had been made life members of the club. On behalf of tho Tennis Club, Air F. Billing spoke of Miss Barry’s good work in connection with tho club and conferred upon her life membership.
