PRESENTATION.

MR W. DUNCAN HONOURED. At a social arranged by the Fcilding Men’s and Ladies’ Bowling Club and the Feilding Laches’ Croquet Club, on Wednesday, trophies in connection with card functions held during tho season were presented, the prizes having been donated by Mrs G. Wilkinson. Mrs Jones was the winner of the ladies’ trophy and Mr F. E. Atoore tho men’s. The evening’s prize-winners were Airs T. Burue and Mr A. Williamson. The opportunity was also taken to make a presentation to Air William Duncan, who has relinquished his position as green supervisor. In asking Air Duncan’s acceptance of a travelling rug and a pair of slippers, the president (Air T. Burne) paid a tribute to the very able manner in which Air Duncan had attended to the greens. Fie maintained them in excellent order for many years.
