HOCKEY SEASON

FEILDING EXECUTIVE. The executive of the Fcilding Hockey Association met on Tuesday, Mr A. Hendry presiding. Committees were set up as follow: Fixtures, Messrs Hendry, Packer and Trass; grounds, all members of the executive; emergency and postponement, Messrs Hendry, Tricklebank and Garlick. It was reported that vandals had keen busy at the Victoria Park grounds, where crockery had been broken, windows and brooms broken and the gas system interfered with. The damage was estimated at £5. The necessary action is to be taken. It was decided that practices he held on Saturday afternoon at the park. It is expected that five teams and possibly six will take tho field in the competitions. Alatters in connection with the King’s Birthday tournament were discussed.
