ASHI-lURST SALE. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report on the Ashhurst sale held on Wednesday, when small offerings were submitted in all sections : 'J ho demand for all classes of sheep was good and prices realised were satisfactory to the vendors. In the cattle section a few pens of station beef 'were offered, but the yarding mostly comprised exdairy sorts and these sold firmly at late rates. A few dairy lieifers and cows and weaner heifers also maintained their values. We quote the following range of prices:—Fat wethers, 21s to 24s Id; store owes, 6s 6d, 7s Id; cull lambs, 6s 7d; wearier pigs, 6s to 8s 6d; fat steers, £6 15s, £7 ss, £7 9s, £8 ss; fat Hereford heifers, £5 12s to £6 10s; fat Hereford cows, £f 10s; fat cows ex dairy, £4 to £4 17s 6d; fat heifers, £4 to £5 2s 6d; weaner heifers, £2 12s 6d to £3 7s; heifers, r.w.b., £4 11s. v
