St. Patrick’s annual dance, held in the Women’s Institute He.'l on Wednesday, though not as well attended as

usual, proved quite enjoyable. Several competition dances were included in the programme, the winners being: Monte Carlo .waltz, Mr O. Miller and Miss V Miller; lucky spot one-step, Mr E. Hanaray and Miss E. Birss. Extras were.played by Miss V. Miller (Auckland) and Mr L. Spelman. Mr P. Miller was M.C. The Woodville Anglers’ Club report* that the heaviest fish caught by a mem- , her during the season was one weighing 21b 12oz, officially weighed in on Tue*day by Mr J. Mclntyre.
