SHIPPING’S NEW PATH. ITALIAN TROOP MOVEMENTS. (From Daventrv.) The closing of tlie Mediterranean to British merchant shipping moans that theic vessels will he diverted to the Cape route. This .will mean some delay to ships voyaging to India and the Far East, but will cause no difference to the times of ships for Australia and New Zealand, the distance being only 300 miles longer. Meanwhile, reports have reached London of German and Italian troop movements on the border. Heavy military traffic on Italian lines lias delayed coal supplies for Germany. Yugoslavia has expressed confidence that, she will be able to preserve her neutrality.
