SULTAN’S LOAN.
(British Official Wireless.) Received May 1, 10.15 a.hi. RUGBY, April 30. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Sir John Simon) has expressed warm appreciation of a loan of nearly -£OOOO without interest, which has heen made by the Sultan of Perak (a Federated Malay State) for the duration of the war.
