NEW APPOINTMENTS;^ Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, iffiy 1 • The Reserve Bank announces that, consequent on the retirement of the chief accountant (Mr H. W. Welsh) on account of ill-health, the following appointments have been made as from May 1: Mr W. It. Eggers. chief accountant ; Mr R. W. Cox, deputy chief accountant. In addition, Mr /A.. Ross has been appointed a deputy chief cashier. For many years Mr Welsh has been associated with .the management of the New Zealand Government debt, firstly, with the Treasurv, and since 1936 with the Reserve Bank when tlie management of Hie debt was transferred to that institution. ; ! :
