GIRL GUIDES.
COMPANY ACTIVITIES. Jean Lucas and Beryl Agncw wero welcomed by All Saints’ Ranger Company at their last meeting. Miss - I. Stuart (captain) was presented with a manicure set in appreciation lor what she had done for the Rangers during her stay in Palmerston North. Four Guiders will, be .enrolled as Hangcis at the next meeting. After Miss Stuarts departure the two leaders, Gwen Roberts and Inez Lyall, will bo in charge of tho company. . The presentation of a Guiuers Dairy was made to Bliss Stuart by Peggy Fry on behalf of All Saints (First Palmerston North) Guide Company at their meeting. Ten recruits were enrolled as Guides and the company is now ready to start on secondclass and badge work. The Takaro (Sixth Palmerston North) Guide Company were occupied with hard test work at their last meeting. The patrols are each being responsible for an item for parents evening. First-class hikes were comnleted bv Elizabeth Merton, Bernice Packer, ‘and Monica Belgrave, and a company photograph was taken.
