FIVE CANDIDATES.
AUCKLAND WEST SEAT. Per Press Association. •AUCKLAND, April 29. Four candidates arc now nominated for the vacant Auckland West seat in the House of Representatives. The returning officer for the electorate to-day receiving the nominations of the official Labour Party candidate., Mr P. Carr, tramway motorman, and of Mr E. Naden, barman, of Ponsonby. Previous nominations were those of Mr L. Pickles, who will stand as an -Jndependent Socialist, and Mr C. G. Watson, official candidate of the Communist Party
