TRADE WITH EIRE.

PROSPECT OF INCREASE. LONDON CONFERENCE. Received April 30, 12.55 p.m. LONDON, April 29. The first direct personal conference between Eire and British Ministers for two years is being held on April 30 at the Dominions Office, Mr R. A. Eden presiding. It concerns trade relations.. Eire representatives intend to press for bigger orders and better prices for Eire produce, especially butter. The Eire Ministers, Messrs Ryan and Lemass have arrived for the conference. The spokesman declared the delegates were pressing for a good share of the agricultural orders formerly given to Denmark. Britain could conserve huge sums of foreign exchange by buying from Irish farmers and also economise in shipping. Eire was able to increase her productive capacity 50 per cent, without strain.
