(From Our Own Correspondent;) MAKINO, April 26. _ At the monthly meeting of the Women’s Fellowship. Mrs L. • Portch presided. Mrs A. H. Laing was appointed delegate for the missionary auxiliary conference, which is to be held in Woodvillc next month. Airs C. E. Taylor, of Feilding, led the devotional part of the meeting, after which she gave an interesting talk on her trip to the Islands Air and Mrs D. Bowator. of Alakino Road, are visitors to Wellington. Airs W. P. Bickers. “Ridgolands,” lias as her guest her sister, Mrs Alclndoc, of New Plymouth. After spending some days in Wellington, Airs W. E. Baker, of Makino, lias returned to her home. Airs L. Portch is staying with her sister, Mrs WagstafT, of Pohangina. Air R. Roid, of Hamilton, is visiting his sister, Airs P. R. Simpson. Nurse Doris Laing, of Palmerston North, recently spent a few days with her parents, Air and Mrs A. 11. Laing. Afr and Airs J. E. Caulson. of “Westorhill,” have returned after spending a holiday in Wellington.
