WEDDING.

RAM—MITCHELL. All Saints’ Church was the scene of a very pretty wedding recently, when Vida’Mabel, third daughter of Air and Airs 1). ‘W. Mitchell, of Ferguson Street, was married to George Gradwell, second son of Air and Airs H. G. Ram, of Colombo Street. Canon G. A. Woodward officiated and Air J. Holmes Runnieles was organist. * The bride, who was escorted by her father, looked very sweet in her gown of pale magnolia slipper satin, made with high waist-line and softly gathered bodice. The fully gored skirt fell in a long graceful train, and the filmy' tulle veil. forming a second train was held’in place by' a halo of orange blossom, and she carried a beautiful sheaf of lilies and gladiola tied with satin ribbon to tone. There were two bridesmaids in attendance, Aliss F. Ram (sister of the bridegroom) and Aliss Pauline Sigglekow. They were frocked alike in honey gold georgette over satin, cut on the same lines as the bride’s froek, and wore Juliet caps of flowers to tone, also gold shoes, ' and each carried a sheaf of-dahlias and maidenhair fern in a deeper shade. Air B. Gardner was best man'aod Private 1). Alitchell (brother of the bride) was groomsman. A reception was held at the P.D.C. tearooms, where the guests were received by Air and Airs Alitchell. assisted by* Mr and Airs Ram. The bride’s mother wore a froek of burgundy embossed chiffon, with hat to tone, and also a sable fur. Her bouquet of dahlias and maidenhair fern toned with her frock. The bridegroom’s mother wore a dress of mauve satin-backed crepe-de-cliine, with peach bloom hat to tone and grey fur fabric coat, and carried a bouquet of mauve and gold asters, autumn leaves and maidenhair fern. The usual toasts were honoured. When Air and Mrs G. G. Ram lett for a motor tour the bride travelled in a mustard cloque frock and a smart navy. American coat, with hat and accessories to tone.The young couple were the recipients of many beautiful gifts and cheques.
