GIFT AFTERNOON.

A very cnjoynble gift afternoon was hoi cl on Saturday, at the residence of . Airs Hooves, 55 Shamrock Street, in I honour of Miss Joyce Stevens, who is to he married next month to Air J. C’oss. The time was spent in competitions, enjoying music supplied by several of the visitors, and in the unwrapping of the many gifts by Miss Stevens. Among those present were Atesdames Reeves and Browning, Atisses G. Reeves, J. and B. Stevens, G. and R. Wattcreus, AI. and J. Pirie, A. Bavin, L. Larsen, B. Barkwith, B. Booker, L. Proctor, A. Tait, J. Coss, A. Anderson, J. Carty, and A. Nash.
