(From Our Own Correspondent.) AOKAUTERE, April 26. There was a fair attendance at the meeting of householders, Mr N. Chowcn presiding. The chairman’s report stated that two members elected two years ago had left the district, namely. Air 11. lldl, who was replaced by Air 11. Robertson, and Mr A. Grcevcs. .who had recently entered camp. The finances were in a sound position and improvements were carried out to tlio grounds by householders’ working bees and by subsidised labour. '1 he Education Board lutd promised a grant for building a school house when more important work was finished. Thanks were due to donors of books for the library and trophies for Calf Club competition and (he picnic competition prizes. The new committee elected is: Mr A. Ferguson (chairman). Air K.
