FEARS FOR SWEDEN

The War Ministry spokesman said the departure of several German troop ships from the Eastern shores of the Baltic has increased fears of an invasion of Sweden. It was not known whether they were bound Lor Swden or were takingreinforcements to Norway. “That is to-morrow’s secret,” said the spokesman, who added that Allied warships were closely patrolling the Skagerrak.
