FLAG BRIDGE.
To aid the funds of the Palmerston North Golf Club, members of the social committee organised an enjoyable 'flag bridge evening which was held at the Awatapu clubhouse on Tuesday. The winners were Mesdames Phillips, Hastelow and .Cliff, the trophies having been donated by Mesdames C. Mowlem and A. Berryman. The social committee comprises: Mesdames Wvllie, C. Mowlem, E. Wilson, E. Simpson, A. Berryman, Misses Iv. Landers, V. Royal, J. Kenning, M. Thompson, F. Fowler, P. Manson, \. Berryman and Mrs T. Iv. Iraser (convener).
