Miss Frances Goulter, of Fitzherbert West, has returned home after a visit to Christchurch. The Mayoress (Mrs A. E. Mansford) returned to Palmerston North to-day from Napier, where she lias been recuperating after her recent illness. Mrs M. S. Ho rnabrook, of Sydney, who has been the guest of Mr and Mrs L. 13. Wall, of Kairanga, left yesterday tor Wellington, accompanied by Mr and Mrs Wall.- Mrs Hornabrook will return to Sydney shortly.
