WORKING IN GERMANY.
SPORTS PROFESSIONALS. LONDON, March 16. A numher of British sports professionals are still earning a living in Germany. Mr G. Gillett, the British golf professional at the Hamburg Club, is still giving lessons as in peacetime, although having to report daily to the German police. ... A Canadian ice-hockey professional who was coaching German teams before the war is another. A third is a British sculler. One golf professional who is helieved to be still interned is Mr McEvvan, who was officiating at the Kolner Club. He was married to a German woman. Six other British golf professionals left Germany at the outbreak. They are: F. G. Norman, of the Bad Wildungen Club; W. Hain, of the Kreselder Club; A. J. Stempt, of the Aachen Club; H. Lees, of the Marienbad Club; S. F. Dornan, of the Pulaski Club; and W. Marks, of the Bergisch Land Club.
