TERRITORIAL ASSOCIATION.
The executive of the Feilding Territorial Association met on Tuesday. It was decided to make available £l2 for the social requirements of the 'Territorials. The Defence Department wrote suggesting that the association Jo all in its power to stimulate recruiting in the Feilding district. The matter was discussed and it was decided to ask for further information from the department. It was also decided that it he ascertained, before any steps are taken, whether Feilding and district’s quota has been filled. Provided the support of the ladies’ committee is obtained, it is proposed to bold a ball in Juno. Air F. P. Fawcett stated that enlistments for overseas service and other causes had resulted in a weakening of the strength of the local unit, and lie urged the association to assist in an appeal to be made for new members.
