PAHIATUA.
"Visitors from the Wqodvillc Lodge wore present .at n recent, meeting of the Manchester Unity Oddfellows. After the conelusion of formal business friends of members were admitted, and the meeting resolved itself into a social evening. Items were rendered by Sisters M. Pryda and 15. E. McQueen. At a meeting of the Malawi Women s Institute, Mrs J. P. Trlec presided. Mrs Smart, was appointed delegate to the Woodville council meeting and Mrs 0. Jennings to represent the institute at the Dominion Federation council meeting. Arrangements wore made for the holding of a dance, the proceeds from which are to he in aid of funds for war materials. The attendance prizes for the, past vear were wori by Mrs Manchester and Mrs W. Berry, who tied for first place. Those present engaged in making bandages, etc. .
