It was desirable that the whole matter be thoroughly discussed, as it was quite evident that better resultu would accrue to farmers if a pool, controlled by themselves, was' formed. All the dairy companies ir. the district were represented either by their chairman or a director, and this was evidence that the matter was considered of great importance to them. Twenty-four of them were gathered in the room, and they represented men who had for disposal some thousands of boby calves. After a longthy discussion it was unanimously decided to form a nool within the districts named, that those present bo a committee to canvass the districts within the area, and that a report be presented to a full meeting to he Held in Pahialua shortly..
