BOMBING OF TOWNS.
NAZI ALLEGATIONS. LONDON, April 15. The Amsterdam Hnndelsblad’s Beriin correspondent 6ays that officials are hinting at the deliberate bombardment of British towns. Ihis answer has been promised for the British bombing of Bergen. The campaign to build a reputation for frightfulness on the part of the Allies includes indignant Pres 6 allegations that the British machine-gunned German sailors swimming in Narvik Harbour. The Paris correspondent of the Times says that poilus have provided an answer to the Germans’ persistent placarding of No Man’s Land with notices: “"Where are the British Maginot Line forces F’ The poilus have displayed large posters reading “At Narvik.”
