A. AND I>. ASSOCIATION. MISS A. PICKERING APPOINTED. Miss A. Pickering, who has been a member of the office stuff of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association for some years, was appointed secretary of the association, in succession to Mr H. E. Kissling, who recently resigned, aL a meeting of tlie association to-day. The recommendation of the committee which considered applications for the position was discussed in private and subsequently the appointment of Miss Pickering was announced, tlie term at present to lie for twelve months. Tlie president (Mr C. E. A lie) congratulated Miss Pickering on her appointment- and said she would have the heartv support of the general commi t too. He felt sure she would nil tlie position • capably.
