TABLE TENNIS
, TAKARO CLUB. The annual meeting of the Tnfcaro Table Tennis Club was hold on Monday, there being a good attendance. The following officers were elected : Vice-presidents, Messrs N. Hansen, L. Hughes, J. Gallichan; club captain and chairman of committee, Mr C. E. Griffiths; vice-captain, Mr B. Bamberv; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr E Pinkney; committee, Miss C. Bearsley, Mrs C. E. Griffiths. Messrs G. Hunter, B. McMurrny, M. White and IV. Wineera. Messrs B. Bambery, G. Hunter and C. E. Griffiths were elected trustees. The subscriptions were fixed as follow: Senior men, 10s; senior women, 7s 6d; juniors (under IS years). ss. The club will open the season with a handicap tournament. At the conclusion of the meeting the tables were occupied for an hour of friendly games.
