TASMAN AIR SERVICE.

NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUE. Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON. April 15. An indication that the hope expressed last week hv the Australian Alinister for Air (Air Fairbairn) that the Tasman dir service would commence this week would not be realised was given by the Postmaster-General (Hon. F. Jones) in an interview this evening. Air Jones said a number of matters, not very many, bad still to be completed. Negotiations were proceeding between representatives of tbe British, Australian and New Zealand Governments on these, and they would have to he completed before the agreement was finally signed.
